Paul is the man behind 'Paul Ockleshaw Creative'. He is both a Photographer and Fashion Designer. He is currently based in the UK, but frequently travels around the globe with his work drawing influence and inspiration from wherever he goes. He has lived in London, Sydney, Perth and Hong Kong.
Paul trained as a Fashion Designer after gaining his degree from the University of Northumbria in Newcastle. He went on from there to design for some of the biggest names in the Industry, such as; Yves Saint Laurent, Jasper Conran, Ted Baker and NEXT. He continues his design work taking on freelance commissions.
He moved into professional photography in 2008 while living in Hong Kong. His creative eye which has fuelled his fashion career is further expressed in the images he shoots. Architecture and Portraits are areas of personal passion. While interpriting the solidity and structure of buildings through the lens excites in one aspect, the instability of fantasy in the human psyche fasinates in the other. Paul thrives on the creative movement between static and fluid.
Artistic impression is his raison d'etre-with deliberate focus on maximising the original.
